Is Derma Q-Gel Gluten Free?

We recently received an inquiry from a customer who noticed that Derma Q-Gel contains “wheat germ oil”. She then mentioned that she has celiac disease which is an allergy to all wheat, oats, gluten etc. She concluded by asking, Is Derma Q-Gel Gluten Free?

I asked one of the Senior Scientists at Tishcon Corp for advice on this question and received the following reply:

“It is gluten free!

Gluten is a protein found in many grains including wheat. Wheat germ oil is essentially gluten free because it is a fat. Moreover, the level of wheat germ oil in our Derma Q-Gel Creams is very small.”
