Advanced Formula Phytosterol + is taken to promote Coronary Heart Health by helping you to maintain both cholesterol and homocysteine levels in the normal range.
Phytosterol Esters including Betasitosterol, Campesterol, Stigmasterol, and Brassicasterol in Advanced Formula Phytosterol + have been shown to help reduce the absorption of cholesterol in the foods you eat and promote not only healthy cholesterol levels but healthy HDL-to-LDL ratios.
The “Plus sign” in Advanced Formula Phytosterol + is for the addition of B vitamins including B6, B12 and folic acid. These important B vitamins have been shown to play a key role maintaining homocysteine levels in the normal range. Elevated blood levels of homocysteine have been linked to increased risk of coronary artery disease and stroke even among people who have normal cholesterol levels.
NOTE: Some bottles may be shipping with the label name "Lipospan Cholesterol Control" NOT Advanced Formula Phytosterol Plus -- however, this is the exact same Tishcon made product and ingredients, just a different name on the label.
